3. Our Services

Hatton Bullion provides valuation and purchasing services for:

• Gold bullion
• Silver bullion
• Precious metals
• Scrap jewellery
• Broken or unwanted jewellery
• Coins and precious metal items

Services may be provided in person or via postal transactions.

4. Market Pricing & Valuations

Precious metal prices are subject to global market fluctuations.

Any price estimate provided:

• Is indicative only
• Based on live market conditions at the time
• Subject to change without notice
• Dependent on weight, purity, and inspection

Final valuation is confirmed only after physical assessment.

A binding agreement is formed only when you accept our final offer.

5. Eligibility & Ownership

By using our services you confirm:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are the legal owner or authorised seller
• Items are not stolen or subject to finance

We reserve the right to request identification and refuse transactions where ownership cannot be verified.

6. Sending Items to Us

Items may be sent using:

• Shipping arranged by Hatton Bullion; or
• A courier arranged independently by you

Where you use your own courier, risk remains with you until items are received by us.

7. Packaging Responsibility

Customers are responsible for secure packaging using protective materials. Improper packaging may affect claims or liability outcomes.

8. Shipping Insurance & Liability

Where Hatton Bullion provides or arranges shipping services, items are insured up to:

£2,500 or the provisional valuation range previously communicated (where applicable), whichever amount is lower.

This amount represents the maximum liability of Hatton Bullion for loss, damage, or delay during transit unless additional insurance has been agreed in writing prior to shipment.

Customers sending items exceeding this value do so at their own risk unless alternative insurance arrangements are confirmed in writing.

9. Loss or Delay in Transit

Shipping is carried out by independent courier providers.

In the event of loss or delay:

• Customers agree to allow reasonable investigation time
• Courier investigations may take between 3 to 9 months
• Resolution cannot be finalised until investigations conclude

We will assist where reasonably possible.

10. Resolution Options

Where liability is established within the limits stated above, Hatton Bullion may, at its reasonable discretion, provide:

• Payment within the liability limit
• Replacement bullion of equivalent value (where applicable)
• Settlement within the provisional valuation range previously communicated

The resolution method will be determined reasonably based on circumstances.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Liability shall not exceed the insured amount stated above
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• We do not guarantee full market value compensation unless agreed in writing

Nothing excludes liability where prohibited by law.

12. Payment & Ownership Transfer

If you accept our offer:

• Payment will be issued via the agreed method
• Ownership transfers once payment has been processed
• The transaction becomes final upon payment

13. Declined Offers & Returns

If you decline our offer:

• Items may be returned using insured delivery
• Return insurance is limited to £2,500 or provisional valuation (whichever lower)
• Return charges may apply

14. Anti-Money Laundering & Compliance

We may request identification documents and conduct checks to comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

Information may be shared with authorities where required by law.

15. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
